Hochiki Adaptor for New CHQ Modules

The CHQ-ADAPTOR is designed to allow the “Smart-Fix“ range of CHQ Modules to be housed in existing enclosures originally designed for the first generation CHQ-OEM Modules by modifying the ‘footprint’ of the unit.

Hochiki Dual Relay Controller (DIN Enclosure with SCI)

Model CHQ-DRC2/DIN(SCI) is a Dual Relay Controller designed to provide two general-purpose relay outputs, each output can be driven separately for control of such devices as dampers or for control of plant and equipment shutdown.  The monitored input can be used for local power supply fault monitoring or as a general-purpose input.

The unit is also available as a boxed module version; both models feature an integral short-circuit isolator.  The CHQ-DRC2/DIN(SCI) utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing.

Hochiki Dual Sounder Controller with SCI

Model CHQ-DSC2/M(SCI) is a Marine Approved Dual Sounder Controller, which has been designed to provide two sounder outputs (that can be driven separately) with full fault monitoring. The monitored input can be used for local power supply fault monitoring or as a general-purpose input. The unit utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing. A back box is also available (CHQ-BACKBOX) which, when used in conjunction with the CHQDSC2/M(SCI), increases the IP rating to IP65.

CHQ-DZM-DINSCI

Hochiki Dual Zone Monitor - DIN Enclosure with SCI

Model CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) is a Dual Circuit Zone Controller designed to allow up to 60 conventional detectors (30 on each zone) to be interfaced to Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system.  The unit also features a Schottky Diode line continuity option, when used inconjunction with the optional LCMU.

Full monitoring against malfunction or disconnection, together with a self-test feature through the ESP protocol, ensure the integrity of the CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) at all times.  The unit utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing.  It is also available as a boxed module (CHQ-DZM(SCI)).  Both models feature an integral short-circuit isolator.

NOTE: When Resistive EOL option is chosen the conventional zone on the CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI) does not support any line continuity options, therefore if Call Points are being interfaced they should be wired at the beginning of the zone.

Hochiki Analogue Plant Control Module

The CHQ-PCM/DIN(SCI) is a loop powered input/output module with four independent change-over relay outputs and four monitored inputs. The outputs feature N/O and N/C volt free contacts and can be driven separately under the control of the fire alarm panel, to be used for the control of devices such as dampers or for plant and equipment shutdown. The four inputs are provided for local fire and fault monitoring and these are fully monitored for open and short circuit, which if required, can be enabled or disabled in pairs using a two-way DIL switch. Note: The state of the relay contacts will be indeterminate until the unit is powered.

Hochiki CHQ Box Sub Assembly

The CHQ-SUB Assembly is a set of replacement components designed to fit any of the existing CHQ Modules: CHQ-DIM(SCI), CHQ-SZM(SCI), CHQ-DZM(SCI), CHQ-DSC(SCI), CHQ-MRC(SCI), CHQ-DRC(SCI), CHQ-ISM and CHQ-PCM.

The sub-assembly consists of the PCB tray, PCB cover and semi-opaque lid and can be used in cases where existing module housing becomes damaged and needs replacement.

This Sounder Control Module interfaces between the Hochiki Analogue system via a CHQ-DSC or conventional sounder O/P’s and the intrinsically safe sounder/beacon units via an intrinsically safe barrier.

Model CHQ-MRC/DIN(SCI) is a Single Input/Output Module, which provides a single, mains-rated relay output  for the control of such devices as dampers, extractors or plant and equipment shutdown.  The monitored input can be used for local power supply fault monitoring or as a general-purpose input.

The unit is supplied as a DIN Rail mountable version but is also available as a boxed module.  Both models feature an integral short-circuit isolator.  The CHQ-MRC/DIN(SCI) utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing.
