We’re thrilled to share that our very own Regional Sales Manager, Robert Quinn, will be running the 2026 TCS London Marathon this coming April to raise funds for Portsmouth Hospitals Charity.
This cause is close to the hearts of both Robert and the entire Eurotech family. The team at Portsmouth Hospitals provided exceptional care, compassion, and dignity to Robert’s grandparents in their final days – support that made an incredible impact on him and his family.
Robert shares:
“Running the marathon is about more than just crossing the finish line for me. It’s my way of giving something back to the people who gave so much to my family when we needed it most. Every mile I run will be in honour of my nan and grandad, and for the incredible staff who continue to go above and beyond for so many families like mine.”
He aims to raise £3,000 to help Portsmouth Hospitals Charity enhance care through improved facilities, equipment, and services – making critical support available when it matters most.

The winner of the £100 draw for taking part was Deane Sales from Amthal Fire & Security. Deane very kindly donated his £100 prize to charity, and Eurotech matched it. So £200 has been donated to provide sweet bags for purchase at local hair and beauty company Chapel Medi-Spa.
For every bag purchased, customers buy another bag for donation to children of families who receive weekly food bags via local charity The Life House, with all proceeds from the sales going towards providing new kitchen equipment for the charity’s food kitchen.
The sweet bags were purchased from a small, local business called MM Mixx Treats, further supporting young, local businesses.
Thank you Deane for enabling your kind donation to bring a little joy to children who have very little, whilst supporting this vital charity and small, local businesses.
